Combining a strong BI organization with a formidable SAP Practice

Hampton, VA, June 21, 2005 - Data Management Group, an authority in Business Intelligence solutions, providing quality consulting and training services throughout the U.S., has bolstered their commitment to providing comprehensive business solutions by welcoming into their organization EnQueue, Inc. an IT consulting services firm with specialized offerings for SAP, Lawson, PeopleSoft and other major ERP packages. The combination of these two organizations, to continue moving forward officially as Data Management Group, forms one of only a few firms able to offer clients in the commercial, public, and Intel sector a deep industry knowledge of the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and reporting structure of SAP R/3, along with the additional reporting and analysis capabilities needed for a complete business intelligence solution.

This joining of forces marks a first for Data Management Group. “We are all very excited to have EnQueue on board. I am extremely impressed with the work EnQueue has delivered in the past and will continue to deliver with full support from everyone in our organization,” says Keith Boyer, founder and COO of Data Management Group. The union brings together EnQueue’s strong SAP practice as well as a knowledgeable team of both seasoned consultants and accomplished managers with Data Management Group’s extensive experience in business intelligence consulting and training. “We feel that with our vast expertise in the business intelligence space, delivering high-quality consulting and training solutions to both government and commercial clients, working closely for years with the leading BI software vendors in the industry and EnQueue’s highly specialized offerings for SAP, as well as other major software packages, we are now able to deliver the full solution that today’s clients are demanding and deserve,” says Boyer.

"This is a ‘win-win’ for our ERP clients and both firms’ strategic partners,” reports Bill Wheeler, COO of EnQueue, Inc. “We selected Data Management Group for their commitment to growth and business excellence. With this merger, we can leverage Data Management Group’s multiple offerings to our worldwide clientele; for the complete ERP/BI solution.” Both EnQueue and Data Management Group have very successful track records in delivering BI solutions to customers. EnQueue’s four years of experience working with organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, NASA, and Boeing, just to name a few and Data Management Group’s 10 years of experience boasting clients such as the Library of Congress, Verizon, several Intelligence Agencies, and the Navy. EnQueue Adds More Firsts To Its List of Successful Engagements
Posted On: August 15, 2002

In late 2001, Multnomah County, Oregon officials were facing two major IT challenges: the first was the need for a cost-effective ‘county wide’ reporting tool that would allow its various departments and its employees to create and view reports using one tool for any application – the second was the need for this tool to work seamlessly with Microsoft’s latest enterprise innovation -- .NET.

Wisely, the county IT department selected the only reporting tool that has proven to be up to the task – Crystal Decisions’ Crystal Enterprise Professional version 8.5.

Crystal Decisions then made the next wise selection – they choose EnQueue to undertake the pilot project. As a Crystal Decisions’ Enterprise Partner, EnQueue has an unbroken record of successful engagements. Since 1981, the EnQueue staff has approached challenging engagements with the client in mind – and that has meant 100% engagement success. The pilot, as with other engagements, was a clear success.

“By selecting the Crystal Enterprise Solution,” states Michael Garrett, EnQueue project manager, “the county now has the foundational technology in place to provide not only a single, unified web interface to their various data systems, but a way to offload the reporting functionality of their new web-enabled business applications, particularly those developed using .NET, SAP and other enterprise applications.”

One of the reasons the county selected Crystal Enterprise is the strong relationship between Microsoft and Crystal Decisions and their common commitment to provide a high-level of integration between the .NET environment and Crystal Enterprise. “One of the challenges of this particular implementation was EnQueue being the first to integrate the Crystal Enterprise web services into a real world .NET application. The EnQueue team worked closely with the county and Crystal Decisions to help the county’s .NET development team get started in the right direction.”

“As with the .NET part of the implementation, the long history of teamwork between EnQueue and Crystal Decisions really paid off during the installation of the CES 8.5 beta,” continues Mr. Garrett. “When technical challenges were encountered, we resolved them quickly and moved ahead. The installation of the newest version of Crystal Enterprise – and the .NET / Crystal integration, went very smoothly. The county is getting what it desired, a world-class, county wide reporting solution.”

EnQueue is continuing its work for the county and with Crystal Decisions -- expecting to add more successes to its long list of accomplishments.

EnQueue Formalizes Healthcare BI Vertical
Posted On: June 24, 2002

In efforts to better meet the rising demands of the Healthcare Industry, EnQueue announced the formation of a Healthcare Business Intelligence Group. This group will be responsible for expanding services and working closely with healthcare entities to provide them with business intelligence and operational reporting services.

In recent meetings attended by EnQueue, CIO’s and power users from various healthcare organizations validated the serious pain points that are plaguing the industry. “ERP packages do a very good job of creating the data, but fall short of providing the necessary intelligence needed to run operations”. This has been known for years, but is now more critical than ever with the pressures of competition and the economy. Add to that situation the regulatory and other external demands put on healthcare and you have literally a pressure situation that strains the organization for existence.

EnQueue has gained significant experience over the last five years in working with hospitals, medical centers, and clinics to provide them with the optimal BI and reporting solutions. Pulling from 1,000’s of healthcare objects, EnQueue has tailored a solution that now provides the foundation for growth and rapid deployment of intelligence throughout the Healthcare organization.

EnQueue, Inc is headquartered in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, with offices across the US. It is EnQueue’s mission to drive ROI on existing IT investments and capture efficiencies that companies had planned to achieve when they implemented ERP, CRM and other high capital-intensive projects. Through the deployment of portal and BI technologies, EnQueue has established a compelling value proposition for all size organizations.

This reporting solution was tailored for SAP customers who are planning to implement R/3 or are preparing to upgrade their present R/3 systems.
